The path I once chose

walking alone in the light is better than walking with a crowd during the dark #

I once had a dream that I wanted to succeed, to climb the stairs of jannah, but halfway through my journey i was dragged down by the so called friends in my life. At the time this was a reality check for me I realised I will only go so far as i allow myself to go, when I had enough I was in a position where i stood alone facing the harsh realities of this dunya (world), but in these times of loneliness I was truly able to chose my own path, and the decisions I chose then have brought me to the blessings in my life now.

And this ayah's i studied recently only proved that thought to be true! In verse 14 of surah Nisah when Allah speaks of those who will go jahannam he uses the singular word 'Khalid' (one abiding  forever)

4:14
this indicates that no matter how many friends you have in this dunya in jahannam you will always be alone and there will be no one to share your pain and suffering. So we should all really ask ourselves "is it really worth "rolling" with those who misguide you now only to be suffering alone in pain later on"?
I highly doubt it I for one don't regret the times i spent alone in the light of islam.

Now in the previous Ayah 13 Allah speaks of the believers and uses the plural word khalidina (ones abiding forever)
4:13
4:13

indicating that the believers will be in jannah together abiding in bliss and sharing their joy. . And for those who are suffering alone now, iA a day will come where everyone will share your joys! # chose the friends you want to see in jannah

The torch bearers of the Quran

(^-^*) Dedicated to my class mates at Alhuda institute !
Reciting the Quran is challenging, but learning the Quran word for word in its in-depth meaning is like being in a tough spiritual training ground where every part of you is tested. Starting from your intentions (as to why you chose this path), your will (if it breaks under pressure) finally your self discipline (if you can maintain it). Either way this path you chose can never be in vain, much like being a doctor, the skills you learn are never in vain because they could end up saving a persons life. Similarly, Taleem Al Quran will either take you higher up in the ranks of Allah or it will give you the necessary tools to be able to climb higher in the ranks of Allah someday. Its like climbing a mountain, you either reach a higher point today or you train your physical and mental strength to be able to climb higher tomorrow, and this is the reality of it. There are some who will reach a peak of self actualisation, whereby they are living to their fullest potential because of their understandings of the Quran and what Allah has commanded of them, and others will lag behind on this mountain of life. They will be left looking upwards, like a mountain cat looks at an eagle with desire and anticipation to catch up to their target, the eagle, but will never be able to.

Its tough and many times I have been left broken and defeated only to be lifted up again and put together in a much better piece like a shattered vase glued together. It's much stronger than the last time, although the cracks may be visible, in this case the light of knowledge is shining brightly in those areas which are shattered, they are wiping away the traces of ignorance that can only be cured by knowledge. Subhanallah indeed Allah chooses whom He wants to invite to this blessed gathering of knowledge, like a royalty chooses wisely whom they would like to invite to their gatherings. I would like to say for those who are struggling in pain, worried, unable to bear it much it longer and afraid they will not live up to Allah's expectations. Then don't worry! Allah chose you. Yes, you. And therefore He knows that you can do this! No training ground is meant to be fun, but in the end the result will speak for itself. Looking back at the many great scholars who graced this earth once upon a time, do you think that they were not tested before Allah gave them such light to carry? Truly the torch bearers of Quran are but few, but their light is bright enough to shine for eternity paving the roads for many generations to come..

And this can be you, inshaAllah.
